Parkovanie v sedle Vršič
Zo sedla vršič SV značenou cestou. Nástup k ferrate je cca 1,5h pohodlnym tempom. Prevýšenie nástupu okolo 300m, dĺžka 2km.
Ferrata je vhodná aj pre začiatočníkov, v prvej časti veľmi dobre zaistená. V začiatku letných mesiacov môže byť pod stenou ešte sneh, ktorý znepríjemňuje prístup k prvému isteniu. V menej náročných úsekoch je cesta neistená, hlavne v časti pod vrcholom nie je istená vôbec (nie je to až tak potrebné). Značená je dobre, aj za hmly/mraku boli jasne vidieť značky. Cesta obsahuje minimum prvkov, poväčšine iba istiace lano, žiadne rebríky.
Zostupová trasa vedie skoro celá cez suťovisko, zostup je náročnejší. Prevýšenie zostupovej trasy je okolo 700m, dĺžka 2,2km. Z celej cesty je pekný výhľad na okolie.
Kompletná ferratová výbava (sedací úväz, prsný úväz, ferratový set, prilba). Doplnkové istenie (lano a pod.) nie je potrebné.
